Peter was a highly commended finalist for the ‘RTPI North East Young Planner of the Year Award 2021’ and ‘Rising Star’ award at the Newcastle University Alumni Achievement Awards 2021, as well as being included in the 51-person list of the transport sector’s ‘rising stars’ as published in Passenger Transport magazine. Peter has on many occasions been invited as a guest speaker at Newcastle University to discuss planning in practice with third-year planning undergraduates. Peter has experience working in both the local authority and private sectors and has a sound understanding of the planning process. Peter has an encyclopaedic knowledge of Town and Country Planning Legislation and can advise on all aspects of planning law.

Peter is an outdoor enthusiast. He enjoys climbing mountains, wild camping and wild swimming and has climbed many of the highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales. Peter will be climbing Kilimanjaro in September to raise awareness and funds for the MND Association, in support of Allen Creedy, Director at Ethical Partnership, who was recently diagnosed with this condition. When not climbing mountains, Peter can be found with his two Yorkshire Terriers, Bobby and Bella, or cheering on Newcastle United.
