Bonchester Bridge Paragraph 84

  • Location: Scottish Borders

We successfully guided the client and design team through the planning application process for a new Paragraph 84 family dwelling. The proposed dwelling was carefully designed to respect and enhance the character and appearance of the local area while meeting the needs of modern family life. The design was informed by a thorough appraisal of the existing buildings on and around the site, ensuring that the development would blend seamlessly into its setting, reflecting the local vernacular in both form and materials.

A key objective of the project was to create an isolated home capable of meeting its energy demands entirely through renewable resources. We provided a comprehensive range of services, including the preparation of a Planning Statement, submission of the application, and coordination of specialist assessments such as the Flood Risk Assessment and Contaminated Land Preliminary Risk Assessment.
