We successfully appealed the refusal of planning permission for the installation of a sculpture to commemorate the jubilee of Queen Elizabeth. We had submitted the application and following its refusal advised our client on the appeal process. We submitted the appeal including proofs of evidence from our expert planning witness coordinated with other witnesses and guided by a senior Barrister (KC).
Our proofs successfully addressed the reasons for refusal, objections from Rule 6 parties and questions from the inspector. We reviewed proofs from the local planning authority and objectors and provided questions for cross examination. Conditions imposed by the inspector have been discharged and the funds are currently being raised for the sculpture.
