The conversion, redevelopment and re-use of a former golf driving range in Northumberland presents an imaginative approach to repurposing a series of redundant and economically unviable golf driving range bays to provide a bespoke holiday accommodation offer.
The site is located with the open countryside and within the Green Belt. Our team of planners were able to assemble a case to demonstrate to the satisfaction of the local planning authority officers and members of the planning committee that conversion of the existing structures would not be ‘inappropriate development’ and would not materially affect the openness of the Green Belt.
The development will assist in the continued growth of rural tourism and will provide something a little bit different for those looking to visit and explore all that Northumberland has to offer.
