We successfully secured planning permission for 10 self catering timber lodges within an established mature woodland on an estate. Detailed biodiversity surveys were required by the Local Planning Authority to guide the design of the new access road, new vehicular access from the highway, siting of the lodges, and amenity space for each lodge.
The application was required to be accompanied by a visual impact assessment, design code, woodland management plan, biodiversity management plan, together with details of all the new services for the lodges. We prepared all the required information to the satisfaction of the LPA. Pre-commencement conditions have been discharged and construction is expected to start shortly.
