In partnership with SLC Property we are supporting Greater Cambridge Partnership with the construction of a new railway station at Waterbeach, to replace the existing station. The proposed new station is relocated a short distance from its existing location where it will form part of a transport hub for the existing Waterbeach Village and a new Waterbeach settlement constructed on the former Waterbeach Barracks and Airfield site.
We are leading on strategic management of planning consents required to construct the new transport hub. Since planning permission for the station was granted in 2020, design changes have necessitated revised consents to be obtained.
