After two inspiring days last week at the Farm Business Innovation Show 2024, we’ve returned from the NEC in Birmingham energised and ready to hit the ground running! The event was a fantastic opportunity for us to connect with passionate farmers, rural business owners, and innovators who are all leading the way in sustainable rural development.
One of the most valuable aspects of the show was witnessing firsthand just how much momentum is building around sustainable diversification and renewable energy projects within rural communities. The enthusiasm for practical, forward-thinking solutions that support both the land and the livelihoods it sustains was evident in every conversation we had. As Jenna put it, “The Farm Innovation event was incredibly beneficial – not only for business growth, but for showcasing our specialist knowledge and building our brand in this sector. For companies and landowners looking to expand, engaging in events like this is invaluable for networking and forming solid partnerships.”

Beyond the insights that were shared, the connections we made at the show were equally rewarding. Meeting so many like-minded professionals and business owners who share our vision reminded us of the power of collaboration. There was a buzz in the air as attendees explored new ideas and fresh approaches to sustainable growth. Becky reflects on this, noting, “Our brand really stood out. People were often curious to ask what exactly made us ‘ethical,’ and it was refreshing to reconnect with our own roots and what makes us the business we are today.”
Thomas shared his own perspective, adding that, on a personal level, “the event was a fantastic opportunity to build my confidence in engaging with prospective clients and peers. We were able to showcase our broad expertise and experience to create strong connections and exciting possibilities for collaboration. It was also great to come together as a team, working with one another to give genuine, insightful advice to those curious about our work. I’m looking forward to building on these connections and diving into new projects.”
